Lainey Farabaugh

My name is Lainey Farabaugh and I am a 2023 forward and attacking midfielder for the Mid-City Lion Futbol Club.

I attend Bishop Guilfoyle Catholic High School in Altoona, Pennsylvania. My GPA is a 99.7, my SAT score is 1310, and I am ranked 4 out of 46 in my graduating class. I have earned high honor roll every single marking period of my high school career and I was awarded the President's Education Award for Outstanding Academic Excellence earlier this year. I have taken a total of 10 AP classes, and I have earned both the AP Scholar with Honor Award and the AP Scholar Award. I am a member of National Honor Society, Blood Drive Committee, Celebration Committee, Student Government (Class Treasurer), and I am the president of SADD Club.

I am a 2005 athlete, and I am 5'1 and 105 lbs. I began playing soccer when I was 4 years old and I began playing competitively when I was 8. I joined the Mid-City Lions in November of 2021 and I am now a captain and core player of the team. I am very quick on the ball, I have great field vision, and I am a scoring threat on the field.
